I pulled an idiot move and i tightened my fuel sensor down to hard on the tank and it cracked and became useless, if anyone has one of these that they want to sell let me know,or if anyone has an idea where to pick up a cap that would fit the threaded hole that would be fine too, i dont use my fuel level sensor anyways, i go off of my mileage....any bright ideas???

I wouldn't spend money on it.
The only times the fuel sensor actually warned fuel was low was typically 10 feet before the bike stalled.
Taught me never to rely on it.

I did the same thing a while back. I found one on ebay for $10.

Does it leak? If not... I'd not worry. Mines been tetched for years. My fuel guage is the trip meter... After a few fill ups you'll get a notion of your average consumption and you know the tank volume - so it's pretty easy to work out when you should start looking for gas and when you *need* to find it without running out.
-Throttle's on the right, so are the brakes.  Good luck.
