Posted here is a public document that we can all add to.  It's not JUST nerdy either.  There's an integrated formula that gives us the actual diameter when you've entered the other data.  In case you don't yet see the benefit, i'll give it to you.  Different tires, despite sharing numbers, will have differing diameters per their manufacturers. So when we add the numbers in, we are given the overall diameter.  When we've populated this list, including bike or custom rim, we'll all be able at a glance to judge the diameter of tires we want to consider and find out if they'll speed or slow turn in.

Could be pretty handy, but I could use the help of those of you with measuring tapes and minutes to spare to get new tires listed on here as you get them on your bikes or bring new bikes home, so we have a data-set capable of aiding us in our decision making.

cheers!!!

I say we sticky this thing.
I know it's not going to be something that gets a ton of traffic or that is updated quickly...
but over time I think this will prove to be a VERY valuable resource to have.

One column you might need is the wheel size they are mounted to. Mount a 190 on a 5" wheel and a 5.5" and you'll get something much different.
-Throttle's on the right, so are the brakes.  Good luck.
- '00 M900S with all the farkles
- '08 KTM 690 StupidMoto
- '07 Triumph 675 Track bike.

I think I set the thing up so that is you use the link, you can add the data.  The rim width and diameter are important of course, but I'm not sure everybody knows what their's are.  However, posting year make model of bike might help a little.

Battlecry, feel free to post the information and update the document, I'd be stoked to see your stuff go on there!

SadPanda, I think you can add a column if you really think it'd help

Corey, I agree, but I don't know how to get it pinned.  I tried to report it to the moderator, but it wouldn't let me report my own thread.  :P
