A monster is a naked ducati.
I declare this bike an honorary monster.
Posted in the Tech section.... I think its a sick bike.
I'm SURE there are nay-sayers....

Ha!  I would own that if I had the spare cash.  I'd really like to see the front suspension design... and compare it weight and "rideability" with conventional forks.

on their facebook: 'Linked Girder Front Suspension'
... and my god, that exhaust is amazing. it makes the bike.

That description makes sense... mostly I wanted to be able to guess the geometry.

Next up is lap times as compared to SBK races...

There is an Aussie (Lawrie Smith) on here www.pbmagforum.co.uk who has designed and built his own girder front end for an R1 with great success. He is now building one for a Fireblade.

I like the industrial look of the tank.

I'd like to see something similar in the shape of the S2r & S4r tanks. Polished aluminum w/ un-smoothed welds! BADASS!  [evil] [evil] [evil]

He's the local suspension guy in Canberra (did my gixxer and my Monster, and also the girls RGV250). Blade was tested at Wakefield Park but suffered a little fire unrelated to the girder. Saw the R1 in action last year at a couple of trackdays

Totally sick! Would look even better if the tail matched the tank though.

We need a new line from the reservoir to the shock on the girl's RGV so I don't think that'll be too far away (once I finish this load of work anyway).
