typically the best place to meet other duc owners is on ducati island.  right around lunch time, almost everyone shows up for the free lunch in the ducati hospitality tent. plus, there is gear check on the island, so you can drop off all your riding gear.

remember to bring your registration, DOC card and/or insurance card showing you own a ducati, so you can get the wrist band to come into the hospitality tent. a ducati key alone is not enough ... you need the registration or insurance card or DOC card to prove ownership.

Must everyone be a Duc owner to get into the hospitality area? Or can a friend or two non-Duc owners tag along with someone who is a wrist-banded Duc owner?  Huh?

In past years there were problems with people abusing the "key only" requirement for hospitality. You only had to show your Ducati key to get a wristband. Now you need your D.O.C. membership card, your registration or insurance card.

Ducati Hospitality is reserved for Ducati owners only. Unless you are there with your passenger, only one wristband is given per rider.

...which will be in full effect at our campsite! Miss Silvia will be camping with us. We'll also have a professional barrista (Marija from MotoJava Cafe) camping with us, but it'll be her day off so I'll probably handle the espresso duties.

Forgot to ask: Is this hospitality tent and lunch available for days other than race day? If so, what days?

Have fun ya'll.  I wish I could go because this would've been my first bike night, but I have a potential buyer coming this evening. He's pretty hot for the bike and hopefully he'll take it. Than I can get the 696 I've been dreaming of.

Desmostro- We'll have to talk about Id sometime soon!

Hope to see everybody at GP on Duc Island  Cool I should have my Pearl white 696 by then and can finally meet some of you  Smiley

Hey R,
Sorry that you can't make it tonight - good luck on the sale this evening!  Great meeting you at DW's the other day - let's try and schedule a ride as soon as you have your new 696!  Unfortunately, I won't be at GP this year (silly birthday celebrations with folks flying in from all over got planned over a year ago and Moto GP changed its dates!)

Sorry I missed you guys.

As it happens, I had an appointment to talk to our insurance agent.

Hey!

The event was really fun!  Thank you for being such a nice host to the meet.  I'll try to make it to the GP race but I doubt it'll happen.  This whole thing about being a grown up is not that fun  Cry
