Hello forum members.  My name is Michael, and I live near Manassas, VA.  I just bought a 2012 Monster 696 ABS, and it's my first bike.  I took the MSF course, got my license, and I've been familiarizing myself with the bike around the neighborhood.  Building up to some more involved riding.  Looking forward to seeing other Monster owners in the DC area.

BTW, I opted for the lower seat, so if anyone wants a good deal on a stock unused seat, please let me know.

Welcome.

As you've probably seen, there's various doings and rides from time to time - well pretty regularly actually. But as you said, build up. Taking it easy never directly caused a crash, pushing too hard does.

We'll catch you around when you're ready.

How near Manassas?  I just moved to Herndon from Bristow but I'm still out that way quite a bit.  I know a few good roads going out towards Quantico.

Dannyboy, I'm in between Manassas and Woodbridge, just off Davis Ford Rd.

Pepe', that is my ad.  I looked around at comparable prices, but ended up taking a guess.  Given the lack of interest so far, I will likely reduce the price.

Welcome Michael.  There are a few of us that are in (or at least in the area of) Woodbridge.

He's in Woodbridge, VA - not way down in South America where you are.
