I have rev'it pants and the crotch has torn after about a year of everyday use.  It is a little disapointing because they were like $300!  My Dainese jacket is pretty sweet, but the zipper broke.  I hear that is a fairly commen problem though.

The crotch busted probably because you're packing so much heat... lol

Most of my gear has ended up being Dainese because their stuff fits me better than most brands. I've been really happy with their quality as well, until just the other day a button came completely off the middle of my jacket. It doesn't affect the structural integrity, however, because the zipper works just fine. I'll keep buying from them.
I've never tried Rev'it.

I'm sure they'll have somekind of sale for 4th of July.
for Dainese vs. RevIt I have both brands, so far both does the job well.
Prices for both are close, hard to choose one for the other.
It come's down to personal preference.

I have both Dainese and Rev'It gear and am happy with both (I picked one over the other based on fit).

Sadly, no.  It appears our next sale won't be until Labor Day.  I do, however, have some clearance textiles left.  Shoot me a PM with your size and what kind of stuff you're looking for, and I'll see what I have left on clearance for you.

PM Duckwrench to get in touch with Maria, who does zipper repairs and installation.

All of our pants, both textile and leather, are interchangable with all of our jackets.  You've got all sorts of options there.  Go take a look at www.dainese.com and let me know if anything catches your eye.

Dainesedan,

I didn't see anything on the website, but am specifically wondering if you have warm weather jackets and pants, perhaps previous years' items that are deeply discounted. that wouldn't be listed on the website.  Always fun to find great stuff on sale, like I did at your Memorial Day sale.
