Had some time waiting for home depot to deliver my wash machine so I did my CW tail chop that UPS delivered yesterday. The instructions were real easy to read and follow.

Here are some pics. gotta do something about those mirrors next

Nice. For a different look with the mirrors, try switching the mirrors and mounts to the opposite side (right mirror on the left side, etc). Once there, flip the mirrors upside down for a lower profile...

What did you use to cut the frame?

Looks good. You should also consider the smaller turn signals. It really cleans up the back end.

Arai speed. I've done the chop to mine as well. just use a hack saw. Use electrical tape and wrap the frame on both sides of where you want to cut it.

Yep thats what i did, but i used some light duct tape. Makes it easier to make your marks as well. Then just used a grinder to clean up the cuts.

Looks Good!  Just a suggestion, a LED brake light with integrated turn signal will clean it up even more.  Very easy to install.  Eliminates the external signals all together.  I think mine are Clear Alternative.

THanks I havent decided what I want to do with the turn signals yet. Definitly want to change them, but those mirrors have to go first.

So what's the verdict on which co. makes the best chop kit and why?

CW sells for $110 or so
ProItalia sells them for $89
Or a forum member sells his for $30.

Looks great Raven!  I just did mine this weekend, thanks again for those instructions.  Next time your in Colorado I owe you a beer!

I am however having some problems getting my DP seat to latch now, but I think some washers as shims will take care of that for me.
