mirror choices

So I hate my stock mirrors, they work great, but they look like crap. I'm not sure if i want bar end mirrors or not and I like the way the Monstrack mirrors on monsterparts look
http://www.monsterparts.com/pc/MIR02/Bars-Mirrors/MIR02.html
Is there any other options out there? how functional are bar end mirrors? I would like something that is functional as well as looks good.
throw your opinions at me.

CRGs are the popular bar end option, I'd say that rizomas are the second (but rather spendy).
if you want to keep them on the stalks, monstrack are the way to go

Monstracks are an improvement over stock mirrors. Great service and lifetime warranty. If you run a windscreen they look pretty good. \
If you run w/o windscreen, barends are the way to go. CRGs are the most popular and there is a much cheaper, nice quality imitation on Fleabay.

An even cheaper option than the CRG knock-offs on ebay (which I have) are the third eye bicycle mirrors that you should be able to pick up from any local bike store. They're about $10-$15 each. They're plastic, but at least they're a quick and cheap way to see if you like how the bar-end mirrors feel.

I went with the Napoleons. Old-school, classic look.

I too wanted functional mirrors. I thought the Rizoma Class mirrors would do the trick after reading some reviews and add a little retro look to the bike. I just received them from PJs and plan on installing them this weekend. I'll put up a pic when completed.

With the bar end mirrors, how functional are they? It would seem like they would be difficult to see way out there on the ends.

it's not bad, you just have to get used to looking in a different spot to see. if anything, having the mirror right out on the end like that has less chance of any visual interference

I started out with Neopolean bar end mirrors and couldn't handle the look. I coughed up the cash for a set of Rizoma's and wouldn't go without them. The are just big enough to be functional, but not obnoxious.

Yeah like them to besides the price you can not beat all the rest are really expensive I had the same rizomas that are on the s4rs but had issues when ever I pulled wheelies when I can down they were all out of wack. So the napo's are perfect good visibility and the whole nine. My bike got pushed over last week so cracked my napo's so looking to order a new set.
good luck,
