well, i ended up going out with this chick (a friend of a friend), and didn't make the zeitgeist.

went to amoeba music, and wandered around the haight-ashbury where she lives.

i think i saw a 916/996/998 today, and i know i saw a 749 yesterday. seeing monsters all over. always want to stop by and wander around the random shops and cafes looking for whoever owns them... "hey, you on the forum!?"

went and did touristy shit today (ghiradelli square, the wharf, etc.)

If I remember correctly, they're rental units for tourists that come with some kind of audio tour that tells you where to go.

by contrast i've been in LA since yesterday, around hollywood, and I've seen one monster (parked, older M900), one 999, and one-rashed up supersport.  Kinda expected more.  Plenty of beemers though.
