There is a local guy here with that bike's twin brother. He brings it out to the euro bike cruise every summer but otherwise leaves it in his living room.

The 450 Scrambler was made the same year, I don't know why he says it was the 'last' single made by Ducati.
1974 saw 3 different models -- the 250, the 350 and the 450. the 450 came in the SS and Scrambler models. D is for "Desmo" as the earlier singles were all springheads and pushrod bikes.
