From where she started when I picked her up at the beginning of April, neglected and ridden 44 miles in 3 years with a mouse nest in the airbox....etc. etc. etc.:

To where she is today over 1k miles later (I'll have to take some actual better pics later):

laughingdp Always used those "sweatbands" on the brake res....you'll get tons of different opinions on why, personally I just like that it's a Cuervo Black one I got in a Western NY bar after doing some free shots from some shooters girls that looked like they'd had a rough life of being ridden hard and put away wet laughingdp

Nope, the p/o couldn't figure out why it hard started and took a while to get running.  One of the first things I did after unloading it at the house was pop the tank and look....why not right?  Luckily it was just fiberglass insulation and no mice.  The K&N kept it sealed and out of the intake.  She breathes much better now.

Good job B.

laughingdp I've seen pics of airboxes STUFFED with cat/dog food.  I know the VFR guys have issues with that quite often.  I'm hoping it was just stuffed in the exhaust and it didn't make it through his engine.

Sunday I went for a 440 mile ride that included the Cherohala Skyway and of course the Dragon.  I haven't shared pics yet of my new (to me) Senna S4 skins.  Here is the last pic of her in RED.....with me ready to ride in the rain to grab the wife's registration for the Crazy 8's a week ago.  Yes, I chose to ride in the rain.....I needed a fix  laughingdp

And on to the newer:

Arriving at the Triumph/Ducati dealer in Knoxville 115 miles from the house early Sunday:

It was a RAT meetup, which originally was Triumph owners only, but our local one is open to all bikes....and I was the ONLY "member" to go down and meet with the Knox crew who then met up with the ATL crews that rode up.  Here we are at lunch....this is just part of the first group.

Myself and 2 other members of the group didn't want to wait on all those bikes so we could get out and have fun....so my Monster, an off the showroom floor 675R, and a Sprint ST tore up the Skyway and then headed over to the Dragon:

There are some really good riding pics of me at the Gap, I may buy some....if so I'll share Grin

That is all for now. popcorn

Rode Cherohala this spring and loved it. Waiting on it to cool down and head to my inlaw's house in Franklin, NC. Wayah Rd is a great ride too.

Nicely done.  I rescued my unloved and unused '99 in 2007 or so, with 3K miles on it.  Look at her now:

That turned out great!  I need to fix the leaky hinge on my new tank and then I'm rockin and rollin again.  It's killing me not being able to ride right now, but I just don't have time to fix it at the moment....maybe next weekend after I finish my summer final.
