Anyone know of a nice route out there that's got some nice twisties and is not super long.  Looking to make it there in about 3.5/4 hours...

I wouldn't, but that's just me. If you do go out river road and take White's Ferry you my consider turning north on US15 up to Luckets and then going up Stumptown Rd(SR 662) to Loyalty Rd (SR 665) into Waterford and then SR 662 to Rt. 9, much nicer. Some other roads more interesting as well. BTW the route he laid out should be ~2 hours or so. The really good stuff is out there in them there hills, but there is also some good stuff in Loudon and Faquier counties on your way back.  - Gene

Yeah, that route sacrifices some for expediency. Stumptown -> Loyalty etc are good. But it'll take longer. And I didn't have a map 'in my pocket' with those roads
