Oberon Foot Pegs Dont Stay Up when mounted for passenger - Help

Bought these Oberon Billet Foot Pegs (touring)

for rider and passenger on my Monster 620. I put the spring and ball bearings from my stock ones in but it doesnt stay up like the stock ones do for Passenger - Rider ones are fine. Anyone else run in to this? Any ideas for fixes?

Are you sure you got the detent plates back in correctly?
