Where would I be able to find this aftermarket? I have searched around with no luck. By the time I trailer the bike to another dealer (Greenville or Charlotte) I will have spent more in gas than the part will cost new from Ducati ($110). I just sent pics to the service dept in Greenville in hopes that he can make a determination on the warranty. The guy definitely seems more willing to help. Believe me, DNA will hear from me about the crap service I get here in Charleston. I buy the Ferarri of motorcycles and I get Kia grade service. WTF!

The dealer has to fit the part to receive credit from DNA to his parts account for both the part and the labor. Just ride the bike up there some day. DNA will not know about "KIA in Charleston" unless you give them a call.

When a client of mine had an issue I couldn't resolve within the guidelines, I GAVE him the customer service number so that the manufacturer could create a file and get going on it. Manufacturers ALWAYS pay more attention to buyers than they do to dealers. I even coached the client in exactly WHAT to say.  8) They never felt neglected. (I didn't sell KIA's or Ferraris, BTW, but mostly $$$ European iron.  ;))

If I had to guess, the line is defective. See your dealer. Even if you're out or warranty, you might be able to get some goodwill.

FWIW, the clutch line on my '07 M695 looks the same, but up near the fluid reservoir on the handlebar. Been that way for a few years and I haven't had issues. It's a little unsightly, though...
