I know how you feel since I grew up in Germany and moved to NM.
In the meantime I picked up all your fun NM habits and added some.....no regrets Grin
Where are you stationed over there? I'll be visiting my family in August.

Im stationed at Ramstein AB at the moment.  Other than that im always browsing around this forum.... its damn near my life when im not at the house or out on the bike.  So correct me if im wrong (its been a while) but NM doesnt have a lot of major requirements when it comes to bikes right?  I grew up in the four corners area but never had a street legal bike then.

Yes, bike laws here for registration are quite relaxed when compared w/other states I've lived in...

I am missing NM, too. Hope to get back early this fall.

Re: Relaxed MC regulation. In NY, bikes must pass an annual state inspection, just as cars & trucks do. Not so in NM.

Yeah last time I was riding in the Abq area was on my ktm super moto.  I got stopped by the cops when they kept harassing me about how I got it street legal.  I then simply explained that I was registered in VA so Tongue lol he then gave me the   Thumbs up and said ride safe!
