I think I'm going to do the same thing. There is no benefit to me in having an account.
(If only I could figure out how to do it)

waytogo  any sidecar action for the little one?  Smiley

Not yet but hopefully at some point.  We did take the visiting niece and nephew (6 and 4) on a little spin around the backyard on my dirt bike.

This is what he is riding right now.  One day his feet will reach the pedals. Smiley

Hubby still driving a tractor?

No, he sold that a while back and got an XChallenge, but that is now for sale and he picked up an old Yamaha Seca.

Holy shit-people in the mob?

I miss almost all of you.

I feel some sort of gathering should be gathered.

I got sick of it and deactivated my account.

Ahh, I thought you de-friended me.  Smiley Fb is my entertainment (yeah, I get that bored) and I roll my eyes less there than I do on barf.

Looks like I haven't missed out on much since moving to LA!

Nice to see movement here though--nothing's deader than the SoCal board.

About 5 months now.  I got a Ninja 250 like everyone told me, but after about 700 miles, it feels like I've reached the limits of what I can do with the bike.

By "limits", you mean my right shoulder? <----never gets old  laughingdp

Hi. I don't know all of you, but have met a few at the the La Ducati Day events in October.  I'm mostly a lurker here, but I just wanted to say my Monster is great!  I'm now at 17.5k miles and 5 years and she just developed her first issue, which is really very minor - a leaky oil pressure switch and this is easily fixed.

Doc Wong is also great and props go out to him for giving new riders a place to learn and ride in well organized group rides.  I know I learned lots of skills from him which have made me a better and safer rider.

I'm on the SF Ducati group(FB) and usually keep up to date with what's going on there.  We even had our first DOC / SF Ducati joint meetup this past Monday.

It would be nice to keep this forum and the montly Zeitgeist meetups alive and kicking.  So, just keep those threads coming and I'll do my part to participate!

I figured that I might as well check in while everybody else is doing it.  I both sold all of my Ducatis and moved away, but I still miss you guys sometimes.  I think I stopped going on group rides when the days-since-last-crash count never seemed to get very high before being reset again.

Other than riding to work everyday and doing errands on a motorcycle, I haven't ridden much at all lately.  I've got to change that.  I still intend to own another Ducati someday - probably a Multistrada 1200ST.  There's a good dealer in Roseville.

I'm still putting around on my S2R as always 37k and counting. I check in to see if anything's going on now an then but I'd be up for more group rides. I've never been the type to slab it to a local joint to get some food. Unless the destination has a significant amount of twisties along the way.

As with a lot of you guys, I've got a wife and kid now to worry about. so the bike only gets out on the weekends. But in the summer, its EVERY weekend.

I've tried to avoid Doc wongs rides of late.  Someone else always seems to bin in at every doc wong ride I attend.
