Relocating 620 Valve Cover with sensor to another head

Will there be any issues with relocating the valve cover with the temp sensor on a 620 to another head? I got a 750 valve cover with oil cooler mount with no sensor hole. Would it be okay to move the valve cover to possibly the rear vertical head and extend the harness? My only concern was that rear head is under the tank and would probably receive less cooling. Would that affect the temp numbers enough going to the ecu to cause issues? Thanks in advance!

I'm just guessing, but since the sensor reads engine temp and not air temp it would work.

The vertical cylinder might run slightly hotter, but I doubt enough so to alter the fueling.

Can be relocated.

Does cause *******minor******* temp fluctuations to the ecu.

Doesn't cause (as far as I've seen (done it 5+ times)) any serious fueling issues.
