Headlights went out today.  Both low and high beams are out. Front/rear turn signals still work.  Brake light still work.  What should I check?  I'm guessing I should check the fuse box.  Anyone know which fuse it is?  What else can I check?

Hope it's as simple as the fuse as you pointed out.  For starters, check each fuse one by one.   Unfortunately, that's where my expertise ends.
620M 2004 Dark i.e.; ~ 57K miles (all me);  Looking to swap out engine now.
Triumph Speed Triple 2006 (now ~ 44K miles bought @ 4K miles on 04/2010)

new monster..

check the headlight connector.
unplug it, see if it looks burnt, if not, plug it up, then check fuses. check your manual for the right fuse. they are on the right side of the bike in the fuse box.

FWIW and if it helps I just acquired a headlight that turns itself on and off at random.  One of the wiring bundles around the steering head got pinched when I went over a massive bump in some road construction.  I can see the kink and feel the break in the conductors.  Bit of a PITA to repair so it's going to be done under warranty.

Check headlight connector.  This is what I found.

I scrapped off the black stuff and reconnected it and it worked!  My question is, what caused it?  Is it just corrosion over time?  Doesn't look like corrosion.  Looks more like it shorted and heated up.  Moisture?  I'm in New England this summer and its been raining a lot and the humidity here is insane.

not sure of the cause, but I called it ;)

maybe use some dielectric grease
