Well, I finally got around to finishing my mod on my belt covers.

I used:
1 dremel.
2 Coping Saw with fine toothed blade.
3 Files, ranging from flat bastard to round bastard. Grin
4 Drill.
5 Beer.  waytogo

I roughed out with a pencil of what i wanted, just sort of free handed it, but for the straight bits, used a rule. I did the top cover first ages ago, before my accident and wanted to get the bottom cover done asap.

So, here goes:

I had already done the first few cuts before I realised that this may inspire some people, so I whipped the camera out.

Note how straight my cutting is  Roll Eyes, that's what the Dremel and files are for. Wink

And no, I'm not painting them because of rocks and other crap would just take the paint off, plus, getting that top cover on would scratch the F*CK off the paint before even getting it into position...

And, on the bike...

Just a few hours work and a bit of patience. you don't want to start ripping in with a bastard on thin plastic, you'll break the cover. Wink
