Speedometer not working...

Hi All,

I've been looking for a solution for this problem for about 2 months now, and I've gotten nowhere. The speedometer on my 06 S2R1k is really funky. From a cold start, the needle foes from zero, does a full sweep, then sets back to about 90mph. While standing still. And it stays there, regardless of whether im doing 5 or 95, until its warm. Then, occasionally, the needle will continuously sweep, moving just barely enough to notice, all the way around the gauge.

I've read a lot of threads about bad speedometers, but NONE of the ones that I've come across have had a solution, only theories as to what may be wrong. Has anyone ever successfully fixed a problem similar to this? Please help!!
