I have this jacket:

I like it, but I'm starting to think it would be better if it had something reflective or some color (patches?) to make it less stealth/more visible.  Anyone out there do anything with their jacket to make it more visible?

Search: Patch Ducati Corse on eBay. I bought one for my plain jacket and love it.

At my local motorcycle shop, I've seen neon green vests with body armor.  I think Joe Rocket makes them.  They go right over anything you wear.

Various companies make high-viz reflective vests. Bam, more reflective and visible.

Other options that aren't the jacket - but helmet. You can get reflective sticker material in a variety of colors. You can find reflective stickers of various logos on ebay, or get the sticker material in bulk and have a sign shop cut you custom stuff. I just cut stripes and lined my black RF-1000 the thin-wide-thin stipes on a duc in white reflective and just did the same to my RF-1100.

In the not permanent section - there's the helmet halo. You can get it at about any moto shop. It's a *very* reflective 1" band of neoprene like material that you simply stretch around the bottom of your helmet.

Vest might be more than I was looking for, but I like the idea of adding some reflect tape to the helmet.  Also, checking patches that have reflective materials.

Thanks, folks.

a friend of mine with a vinyl plotter actually found some really interesting vinyl from 3M. It's BLACK reflective... So in the day time it looks just black, but at night when light hits it, it lights up like the 4th of July. He did his whole bike and helmet with cool "TRON" type designs. Really neat stuff.

Nice. :)  So I looked it up and it appears that it's 3M Scotchlite tape.  Found this vid on youtube of someone applying it to saddlebags on a BMW (there is no sound).  Pretty cool stuff.

You can also get reflective adhesive tape kind of like pin-striping at a lot of bicycle shops. I've seen it in red, yellow, and black. The black is stealth during the day but lights up pretty well at night.

Or there's sew-on for your jacket:

My current helmet the RF-1100 is white and I striped it like the previous, but with black reflective. i just get it in bulk from tapeworks and get down with the x-acto. For the curves of helmets the stuff from tapeworks works well. It's thin so will stretch and conform more easily. i got some thicker heavy duty signs stuff from a buddy, but it wasn't able to do the dome shape of a helmet

Tapeworks also sells various kits.

Follow up:

I took the advice of getting reflective tape and put it on my helmet.  Good stuff I ordered off of Amazon.  3M Scotchlite reflective tape.  Recommend!  Behold:

I have the same jacket but in the smoke gray color. Pre ordered it when Roland first announced it. Compliments everywhere I go.

Best is to have a tailor sew on some reflective piping.
