Hi,

I just received today my Powercard and I am trying to figure out the best way to place the controller and route the calbes in my S4R. I don't want to mess the card and/or installation going to a route that maybe someone has already done.

The instructions suggest putting it under the seat. However, routing the cables this way would expose them to the heat generated by the rectifier. Also, I am not sure about clearance issues under the seat...

Another option would be to put it on top of the airbox itself....any clearance/cable management issues there?

Any suggestions, pictures or guidance will be much appreciated.

Thanks

Alfredo

Here's how mine is routed.  Strapped it to the battery and ran it round the left side of the bike and under the trellis frame.  Hope this helps.  hasn't fallen out or caused any issues with placement.

(Hi-jack)...how do you like the card's performance?

If I had one, I'd likely make a custom plate for the regulator (S2R) and afix it to that...The battery method pictured above looks solid as well.  Or, you can try to put it on your ECU

Money well spent in my opinion.  Some will say fuel managers are useless and others swear by PC.  I had a PC in here for a hot second and then swapped it out for the Dobeck piece.  Had the shop tune it right.  No more burbing, bike gets the right amount of fuel when necessary.  Only downside.....runs through gas if your right hand gets too happy :)

Thanks for the pictures!  [thumbsup]

I will install it sometime during this week....need to set some time aside. Removing the air box on the S4R is a pain due to the radiator blocking the front screw...I guess I will take pictures and build a tutorial (if everything works out!)

Appreciate your help

reading the recent thread about the bazazz has had me thinking again about this.

With desmotimes on hiatus, I poked around in the sponsors but didn't see these.  Anyone know a good vendor for these?
