Crazy bastards!  bow down
 Some great footage there.
I wonder if they have to set their suspension up differently from a regular track set-up,what with the big bumps, jumps and air time!

Just my 2 cents but I think the video must be better than being there. The course is, what, 17 miles long? You'd only be able to view one short section and forget about finding a spot in the esses or "airtime" spots. Lousy food. Ultra expensive accommodations or a tent. Possible rain/ cold.
Sorry, I'm gonna' have to stick to my Lazy Boy, a cold beer and edited videos.

I can see where your coming from, I'm probably going to have to follow your lead on the beer and the lazy boy because unless I some how win the lotto I'll probably never get to go haha, I would rather spend the money on motorcycle parts anyhow

You stay on your Lazy Boy and while you're sat there google Isle of Man TT races and you'll see that the TT coarse is 37miles per lap and not 17miles... Embarrassed

Lousy food... Huh? well I've attended Daytona quite afew times and some of the food that I've been served in Florida has'nt been top quality... Shocked

Expensive accommodation... Huh?  well again google Isle of Man homestay and you'll be supprized at what is on offer and as for a tent and rain/cold are you a man or a mouse... Embarrassed

Oh and BTW...I've entertained three americans at the TT in recent years and all three were completely blown away by the whole experience so as I've said before "get off your butt and come on over"... applause

much less rebound damping on most TT setups to cope with the bumps

I stayed in home stay accommodation for the whole 2 weeks of TT in 2010.
Absolutely awesome 5 min walk to pits and start line.
Bed and full cooked english breakfast each day for about $55USD per day so doesn't have to be an expensive experience.
One of the best experiences of my life.
Definitely NOT a once in a lifetime experience coz once you have been you will be hooked.
Met a great group of  guys and ended up marshalling up on the 33rd milestone for most of the time.
if it is ever a possibility go for it

here's the thing about attending an event like this...

I've been to a few special events, and watched many more on TV, but being there is a spiritual event.

Here's two that are burned into my persona

1993 San Marino F1 Grand Prix Alain Prost - Michael Schumacher - Martin Brundle - JJ Lehto - Philippe Alliot (In a Lamborghini F1!!!) - Johnny Herbert  - Alessandro Zanardi    - Ayrton Senna - Jean Alesi - Christian Fittipaldi - Michael Andretti - Derek Warwick  - Damon Hill - Rubens Barrichello - Gerhard Berger - Thierry Boutsen - Mark Blundell

This was the year before Senna died, and I was supposed to have been at that race.

WDW 2012. Need I mention who was there, oh and had a nice chat with Paul Smart

these guys are incredible  bow down ...those jumps are ridiculous, but i'm pretty sure that the high speed mid turn layin it over wheelie at about 3:46 is the craziest thing in there..

also, i'm in the wrong profession.   bang head
