So i have begun my quest of installing some S4R parts on my bike. First off is the rearsets supplied by dk1six . Thanks by the way they turned out great and i love em! Very easy install with a few extra parts here and there. I am more than happy getting rid of the chicken wing passenger assembly! Here are the pictures of this update.
Next up.... Trying out wheel fitment tonight to see if it will work out!

Those rearsets look really good. nice work.
If this is the style of wheel you are talking about. Then, you should definitely do that. I have been thinking about doing that swap on my bike.

I'll be sending pictures of mine to you tonight.
Just to confirm, the axle and rotors did swap directly onto the S4r there correct? I so want your wheels.

So just to get things clear..... S*R wheels will fit a 796 or 1100..... heres your proof! (mind you an abs might not work due to the front sensor assembly)
For this id like to thank Raux for lending me a bike jack for the swap and Muskrat for following through on the trade! They look awesome and im soooo happy with them already! There will be more pics to come as it got dark so quickly tonight. Hopefully i can get some really good pics tomorrow pending the weather.

glad to see my wheels are traveling the world and ended up in the right spot.
They look good, better than I imagined. Once I get yours I'll post pics but first I have to redo the wheel stripe.
too bad I can't ride for another two months.

I really am thinking about it but I don't know yet. The wife is saying there's too much red on it...lol. If I could find out a way to put a trellis style subframe on instead of that boxy crap I would do it 100%. Maybe I could have one fabbed up?

Those wheels look great on that bike, always loved the S*R wheels. Personally I wouldn't give up the ABS, is there anyway to swap out the other assemblies to get the ABS stator back on there?
