I'm missing my Monsters..especially the 1100..so planning a new bike by next Spring.
Another 1100 (used/dry clutch), EVO (new 2012 or '13) or an 899 (if Ducati actually comes out with it).

Any FHE riding both the 1100 and the 1100 Evo?  How do they compare?

Had the 620 with a wet clutch and the 1100 with dry that I kept covered.  If I bought another dry clutch, it would be covered as well.

These are epic pic responses. Truly make the beast with two backsing epic.

I love the look of a dry clutch but cant stand the sound. Its so freaking loud. Maybe on a race bike or a track bike sure, but an everyday bike no.

my money goes to the EVO. if you buy it new, its the same price with ABS. No FHE. besides the M1100 exhaust looks like a pile of mermaid shit. and that aint saying much.

I love the look of my dry clutch.... and I can live with the outrageous noise, but when its time for a new clutch pack I'll be scouring the "quieter clutch mod" threads...

Roll Eyes quit bullshiting, you prefer the sound of tires popping.  Cheesy

Hell no!  Scary sound. Only one out of the many flat tires I've had did I actually hear the thing pop.  It wasn't a "pop" though..more like a "BOOM" as tire met steel cut nail!!  Of course, happened out in the desert.  Roll Eyes

I've ridden both.  The Ohlins on the S model is nice but I bought my M1100 EVO last July and I'm pretty happy with it.  Can't really go wrong with either one, they are so similar it's not going to be that much different in riding between them.  I  guess it just comes down to preference.
