Alien Helmets - damn these look cool

First time I saw one of these was in the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (the newer version with James Bond).

Some of these helmets look really cool some make you look like a Stromtrooper

The Bandit brand on Louis is ECE 22.05 certified, which is tougher than DOT and SNELL

if you look further, they are mostly ECE certs only, they have to say 'no road use in DOT countries"

You're right. If ECE is tougher, why have they not gotten DOT? From what I understand DOT is not very comprehensive, while SNELL is much more complete.
