Ive been looking around for an aftermarket bar riser for my 796 that is shorter than the stock one. Anyone have any suggestions?

I'm running rizoma bars ( the 005s) and would like to lower them down a bit. Pretty much the feel that I'm going for is lower with more sweep ( the sweep has been taken care of by the bars). Almost the feeling of clip ons, but in bar form.

thanks

You can get the the risers from the pre 2010 new monsters, they are lower than the post 2010 monsters but not by much.

But if you want want the clip on look and feel it would be a lot easier and better for you to look into the suburban machinery bars.

I actually considered those first, the only reason I went with the rizomas was because from what I read on the website, the suburban machinery bars didn't come powdercoated black.

Pretty easy to find a local powdercoater... if that's what you're really looking for then that would be your top option.

Are there really any other advantages to new riders? Aside from what looks like a tiny tiny bit of weight shaved off the bike
