I just got back from the Indy race at RIR. It was truly a sweet score, and a great race.
Let me explain.
I got a card in the mail about a month ago from Marlboro. They teamed up with Penske racing, and were offering two tickets to the race, for free. All I had to do was call and confirm.
So my wife and I headed up there this a.m., and man, they hooked us up!
We got: two tickets,
two pit passes
two hats
two gear bags
a track scanner rental with two headsets
a pair of binoculars
and a disposable camera
ALl for free!
The race was a good one, but I won't spoil it for anyone. I'll just say, if you have the chance to watch it on the tube, you won't be bored.
And if you get an offer in the mail. . . Hey, maybe sometimes you do get something for nothing.

That is funny...I got the same thing 3 years ago and actually went.  It was the fricken bomb...I have gone every year since!  This year being the exception...Marboro hooked me up!  I don't even smoke...I signed up at a bar in VA Beach and was sent the invite...If any of you ever have the chance to go to RIR for an open wheel or NASCAR event, I highly recommend it!  It is a blast...just bring your earplugs...
