too old to remember my titanium member...

« on: September 18, 2012, 08:53:46 PM »

Hi, folks, like time no see...

Just checking in to say howdy from Oz.  We arrived here in Sydney on Aug 6th, and I finally picked up a bike here locally, a 2009 Streetfighter S, pretty loaded out with carbon, termis, and other goodies.  Life is pretty grand, and the weather has been unbeatable.  Looking forward to getting about on two wheels.

Hope all is well, and I'll post up some pics or you can catch up on Facebook or here:  http://glennonsinsydney.blogspot.com although I've already slacked off keeping it up to date ( hey, slacking, it what's I do... )

Cheers,
Svoloch

Yes, we now include Svoloch amongst the dearly departed...

Allegedly, he is "working".

Personally, I think it's some kind of extreme witness relocation program Shocked

Moved down beginning of August, took some time to get settled, and started work the third week of August.  Things are going well, stellar weather, awesome coffee, pubs everywhere, people are very friendly.  Gorgeous rides to be had in all directions except east, where it gets a bit wet until South America, but then the rides pick up again.  About the only complaint I have is that it wildly expensive, but people ( including me ) are just paid more.

Come on over, seriously, I have a room for you guys.  Let me know when to pick you up from the airport...

Also, I saw on the Ducati.ms forum someone from mid cities was pregnant doging that a red 1098 was making a bad name for red ducs by wheelie-ing everywhere and running from cops.  He was quite upset about it, but it just made me happy knowing that RichD is back on the roads...

If plans go as plans go we will see you late next year.  BTw, go to Cairns ASAP.
I can believe you picked up a street fighter but now that you km your service intervals will be further apart  Grin

Fortunately I am back on the roads,
unfortunately the 1098 I had is no more...

About this time last year it was pronounced D.O.A. in an unfortunate event.   Cry

Australia does have a long history as a penal colony... maybe some "special renditions" are in his future...

Some scientists claim that hydrogen, because it is so plentiful, is the basic building block of the universe. I dispute that. I say there is more stupidity than hydrogen, and that is the basic building block of the universe.
