Mounted them on the Monster, they are very slick, especially the left hand side.

He's got an M-Unit on the bike, so... Plug and play, with that.

By no means is this mod 'plug n play'.  ;)

Notes on this mod

1) The wiring and connectors are fantastically small and not up to the task of switching any substantial loads. This is what relays are for.

2) You need to find the matching connecters to splice into your wiring harness. You weren't going to hard wire them were you?

3) The kill/starter switch functions like the older Ducati switches.

4) The left switch gear is all momentary switches that switch to ground.  This is completely different than all previous Ducati Switchgear.
This requires latching relays or as an alternative, the motogadget M Unit works well. Internal switch wiring mods are necessary if you
want the various switches to respond to your command.

5) No.

very very nice.
does it increase your turning radius? I've found my limits are made by the larger switchgear

i did a lot of research on the sf switches a while back and was going to do it with latching relays but it seemed too much of a pain the the arse in the end. i never knew of this "m unit" tho!! damn i wish i knew about that thing before i re did my loom last week!!!

Looks the goods!! well done

very slick.  Nick and I had kicked this around briefly a while back, but I was out once it wasn't plug-n-play.
My fast lap is your sighting lap.

yeah, very nice!  do you have a link?

But, what I'm really interested in is the M-Unit... I've been thinking about putting one of those in for a while...
did you wire it up? easy?
any downside to it?
anything I should know?

kopfjäger - Very cool mod. looks good.

Any information on installing the M-unit would be great. Thinking about using one on my bike. Thanks.

Being faster than you thought possible…it feels good. No, screw thatâ€"it feels like shotgunning a gallon of adrenaline and chasing it with an all-night orgy aboard a burning Viking boat.
