Looks pretty badass! Thinking about picking these up and dumping the armor in the suit. this looks way more comfortable and its pretty much a 2nd skin to help you slip in.

Just got a pair of Bohn Armor Pants last week. Very comfortable, fit under denims very well. The only issue I have is keeping the knee armor up high enough. These are definitely made for someone much taller than 5'5". But I am going to take these to a local seamstress to see if she can move things around a little bit.

Not to get too personal, but could you wear undies with them?  Or do you have to wash them after each ride?

I'm definitely considering a pair. Only down side I could see is having to change out of them once at a destination (versus overpants).

Depends on who you are. I can get away with wearing it quite a few times before it gets too gritty to wear. I wear lycra underwear under mysuit, only because it supports my cup.

I believe Bohn armor is meant to be worn over your underwear (unless you normally go commando). To your point of having to change out... If I were going for a ride with friends where we only stop for gas and food, then I would definitely wear these. If it was cold enough to require overpants, then that is what I would wear. But if I were commuting to work, then I would consider wearing something like ForceField knee armor under khaki's. Easy to remove, and does not require dropping trousers. The disadvantage of the knee armor is that you don't get the hip / thigh / tailbone protection.

I've had them for a couple years, and I recently bought the 'air' version of the shell and swapped in the armor.  I wear them under my kevlar jeans and feel like they protect adequately although I've never had a true test.

The 'normal' shell is just straight lycra, like underarmor tights.  They get warm on hot days.  The air shell flows a lot more air.  I tend to be pretty warm anyway so the air version was a welcome change.

I had to make a decision on them however to keep the hip padding or the tailbone because with both, my belt didn't fit.  Based on my limited experience of one get off, and how badly I bruised my hip, I did a risk assessment and removed the tailbone pad. 

The good part about these pants is the armor stays in place.  It's not like the slip in armor on some pants that could move around or not be in position during a get off to protect the bony protrusions of your body.  That said, it is thick padding stuck very close to your skin so after a couple hours they can get uncomfortable on the thighs, especially with the sun beating on them. 

I don't wear leathers, probably never will own a full suit.  The kevlar jeans with these pads feels like it'd be enough to protect me from initial impact and sliding abrasion.  That said, i can also get off my bike and look relatively normal walking into a restaurant opposed to my buddies in full suits or the local pirate costumed harley riders.  Not that either is wrong, but they both scream for attention I'd rather avoid.  Sure, leather pants would be better, they're just not my thing.

Do you or anyone know if these Forcefield Pro Pants are lighter than my Bohn pants?  I was going to order the new air pants from Bohm but thought I would try something different.  Is anyone wearing them?

I've got the Forcefield pants, but I've never seen the Bohms so I can't comment if they're lighter. I like them, cooler than I thought they would be. I mainly ride with my leathers, but when it's to hot I'll throw these on and some jeans.
