I was wondering if the annual Ducati Day in La Honda was being held this year?
Any word?

i have received a LOT of emails on this subject, from great folks who have attended LDD events in the past... so i thought it might be better to post this up here on the myfacebookspaces so that everyone will know what is happening...

unfortunately, there will not be a LDD event this year. we ran into venue issues, and were not able to resolve them in sufficient time to allow the vendors to have time to plan/donate/attend.

rather than compromise what has been a great visitor experience for the past 8 years, we decided to cancel for this year and get our ducks (ducatis) in a row for next year.

grazie mille to all for your interest and support, and we look forward to having a great LDD2013.

I look forward to attending this event annually rain or shine. It's a great location
and a fantastic place to meet Ducati enthusiasts. It wasn't till this event that I found out about about the DMF. Looking forward till 2013!

Well I guess I'll have to look forward to it the following year.  I always enjoyed meeting up before hand and riding down in a group.  Seeing some of the vintage Ducs was always cool.  I even had my Ducati Rider Portrait taken there.

Let me know when you're in town.  The 'Geist meets are getting tough for me to go to anymore but I'll try.  That or we just meet up on our own.  Give me a holler either way.
