When I dropped my Monster 696 in July, the brake lever got bent and the adjuster dial got dinged up, so now when I try to adjust it, the number two setting puts the brake lever about 1.25" away from the throttle.  Is there an inexpensive adjustable brake lever available that doesn't look cheesy and doesn't cost $200?  I'm changing the brake lever now so I can still ride it until I can snag something nicer next year.  Thanks.

I swear by my ASVs.  $130 or so each.

fleabay has cheapo china knock-offs... the price varies a little, but they are for a set.  There are reviews around here somewhere.

I got a china special from ebay seller panmarco1111. At the price point I figured WTF, if it sucks I'm not out much. Turned out to be actually quite nice. Not ASV or CRG quality, but the value couldn't be beat. And when it seamed the first one went missing they sent a second one free of charge. The first one showed up a couple days later, of course...

So the china stuff can be a good value - but you do need to be more wary.

If you want to be sure of things, ASV, CRG or Pazzo... but they won't be so low cost.
