I have wide feet and the boots I own (oxnar) I feel like I am falling off the side which I am fairly certain is the reason my back hurts so much when I stand in them.   After A lot of research, the only boots that truly offer a wide size are the Daytona boots.  Two drawbacks; the wide size is custom made so you have to preorder them and the only distributor in the US is in socal, 3000 miles away.  Oh,and they are ungodly expensive.  So that would be three things wrong.  I  would spend the money but reassurance that they are great boots, well that would help me pull the trigger.  When will these Italians realize there are large feet out there?

I have Roadstar goretex boots for everyday riding and the Sport Evos for twisties/track/racing.  They're worth every f'n penny.  I think TripleJ has a pair of the Security boots.

For distributors, I think you're talking about Helimot in NorCal.  They're GREAT to work with.  I trust them completely.  I've got one of their custom suits, as do many of the folks I ride with.
Occasionally AFM #702  My stuff:  The M1000SS, a mashed r6, Vino 125, the Blonde, some rugrats, yuppie cage, child molester van, bourbon.

That's exactlynwho I am talking about. Although I thought they were southern Cali company.  Are they comfortable? I was looking at the roadster gtx boots. it's good to know about helmoit. Thanks

The roadstars are the most comfortable pair of moto boots I've ever owned.  I wear them around even when I'm not on the bike.

My buddy just finally wore through his Road Stars after a decade or so.  He replaced them with another pair.

I wear the Daytona Evo Sports, and they're fantastic. Comfortable with great protection and are lasting well. I just completed my 2nd race season with them, and after a little cleaning and leather conditioner treatment they look almost new. I'd recommend them to anyone. I've also crashed them once (lowside at about 70-80 mph), and no damage to my ankle at all...not even sore.

+1 to Helimot as well. When I bought mine I went in there just planning to try them on, and then order directly from Europe to save some money. Helmut was so helpful that I ordered them right there.  [thumbsup] He made sure I was getting the right size, and when they didn't have my size in a new pair in stock he had me try on his since we wear the same size. I ended up getting the Evo Sport inserts and the Security Evo outers, as he had the parts and could have them ready for me in a couple days.
