They are Conti-replica's which were available through Ducati Performance.

They're VERY loud & VERY heavy...  I used to own a pair.

Were they loud because of the type of packing? or lack of packing?
Heavier than stock?
I've found these...........

Would you figure they are about the same?

i had a set on my old monster.  sound amazing and had zero baffling.  my neighbors did not enjoy.  they were def heavier than stock and, yes, those look close to them on the ebay auction but that's pretty pricey for those pipes i think

Go for the Sil Moto conical megaphones. They look better. The DP pipes look too long from the side view. The Sil Motos look more proportional. Also the Sil Motos sound great with and without the removable baffles.

not bad. got some of those laying around, Travman?  Grin

i'm guessing the 91-98 SS's used the same headpipes as the carbureted 900 Monsters.
 Huh?
anyone know?

I'm not even sure if they still make these Sil Moto Conical slip-ons. They had stainless steel or carbon fiber versions. I took a quick check at some of our sponsors websites and didn't see anything.

Nope...  Different headers & different muffler angles.  I think the pipe outlet diameter is the same though.

A year or so ago I picked up a beautiful Sport Classic from the owner of Keihan Systems of Redditch over here in the UK, it had fitted the type of silencers that I think you are looking for so have a look on their web site www.keihan.co.uk and hopefully you'll get fixed up.

Geoff those are exactly what I'm looking for but they replied to my e-mail and said they won't fit my 900SS/SP. I know I'll have to fab some kind of adapters so it's really not a big deal. I just don't know what I'd be dealing with. Got any pics showing the connection area? How's the quality?  Are they overly loud?
Thanks

Did you buy Marks SC then?
He originally asked me to bring in mine to do the development for these cans but even though I could have got my own set out of this I was just too far away and eventually he bought his own to do the fitting work.
Hope your enjoying it, I love mine.
