Ouch....

IMO IOM ( Grin) isn't a brutal sport....unlike American football, the object is not to hit things because that just slows you down  Cool

I had the honor of riding here in OH (Route 555) with a gentleman in his 60's now from UK who had raced the TT many years back.  I wish we had time to chat but he had to cut the ride short as the bike he was riding (loaner) was a 1987 or so old bike with a 30 year old tire lol   I remember before I even knew who he was I was riding behind and looking at his posture and how he was kicking everyone's arse that he was a pro.  and upon stopping for conversation, it turned out i was right.  He was some riders uncle or something for a short visit here.  he was happy to see a few of us riding a Triumph  Smiley

My question is - do they memorize the route ?   I mean how can one have such a quick reaction? huge kahuna's.

Any racer memorizes the track. The difference with the TT is it takes several years to memorize it and become fast.
