Ouch. They're going to start cracking down out there. Last time I went west, the was a serious collision just in front of Outlanders. Pontiac G8 club was out there racing about and acting like idiots. Well, one of the drivers lost control of his car at HIGH speed and slammed into an elderly couple who were about to cross the street. They ended having to medivac the elderly man, but didn't expect him to make it.

Being faster than you thought possible…it feels good. No, screw that—it feels like shotgunning a gallon of adrenaline and chasing it with an all-night orgy aboard a burning Viking boat.

No, but he hasn't logged in, in a couple months so that's no shocker.

And I can't see him getting mixed up folks doing that level of foolishness... and his car would need work/not be run into/New problem of the day

I wouldn't assume these folks were doing anything terribly wrong.  Maybe they were, but my default in VA is always to side with the motorist.  The VA view on what constitutes "safety" really equates to "increase revenue and keep the courts full". Remember, in VA going 20+ over is automatically reckless driving as is going over 80 and as is riding two in a lane on a motorcycle.  My guess is many of us have done all three of those at least once anytime we head out from DC for a ride in that area.

The advice someone else gave about waiting until you cross the state line is fine advice indeed.  I would also advise that you spend your money in WV as much as  possible on those rides.

No longer the case. Where were YOU when we needed you?  Cool See: http://www.ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?topic=53962.msg1031450#msg1031450 and read the whole thread if you like.

BTW, SP and locals are rather tamer in Central VA and LOADS of great roads between Richmond and I-81.

If I see him at the kitchen I will remind him to check in. He drops by on nice days when has the car out.
