^ this.
it is ugly regardless of its awesome engine, braking, suspension, and electronics.
mainly because I resent how ducati went in that direction.

i actually like it (the diavel). i would change the mirrors to barends though.
this is a troll post.
there is far more wrong with that bike than the mirrors.

I'm pretty sure Ducati doesn't care that you resent them.
Maybe some day you will get the chance to ride some of Ducati's top shelf models. I'm sure you would enjoy them.
Keep on hating.

This is a sure fire way to get this thread locked guys. Are you folks really this uptight that you get your undies all bunched up? Sheeesh! It's only motorcycles and there's bunches of them for everyone's taste. Let's not get like the folks over on Ducati Spot.

It wasn't a burn brother. I think you would enjoy riding a Diavel or a Panigale. I enjoy riding any and all Ducati's.

I didn't think this post would go 4 pages deep despite the polarizing looks of the Diavel. Considering I haven't driven one I can only comment on its aesthetic. In that red with white stripe and white wheels combo, it looks like it's about to transform.
Instead, what I'd love to see done to the Diavel (as a one off) is reduce the bulk up front, lose those cans, forward controls and rework the tail, getting rid of those vertical tail lights. The kind of transformation I have in mind is something like what Roland Sands did to the Yahama T-Max - maybe less "mad-max" like.

I'm not sure which looks weaker, the front wheel or the fork.
And I wonder how they decided which US state to name that pile after...
