my personal preference for gloves is REV'IT.  They hold their shape longer and don't stretch easily so they stay snug.

I have had tons.  For the money and crash worthiness go for joe rocket gpx pro.  Whatever gloves you buy, full gauntlet is the way to go.

Held Phantoms, great fit, great protection, and if you do a little searching you can get great discounts as they have a new model (Titan) out.

I had a crash last summer in them (ran into a guard rail on track) and except for some scratches on the carbon fiber parts they are absolutely fine (I just broke my pinkie, and the seam at the elbow of my Dainese jacket was torn, to give an indication of the crash)

If the glove doesn't fit, you must not get.

I've had a previous version of these for years.  Love them.

Spending more money on really good gloves now will be cheaper than buying several pairs of cheaper gloves.

It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

Were you able to try them on first? I find that Rev'it gloves run rather small. In the summer, I wear XXL in A* can can't comfortably manage XXXL Rev'it - yes, Triple XL. Seems according to glove sizing I have gorilla paws - but different manufacturers will have different fits.
-Throttle's on the right, so are the brakes.  Good luck.

I've always worn Held gloves.  I really like the dexterity that you have with them.  I can actually get my wallet out and pay for gas without removing them.

There are quite a few Held models for a lot less that $250.

I have had a couple pairs of the "Steve" gloves, and they're good street gloves. Very comfortable, and the visor wiper feature is fantastic. Most gloves put them on the thumb, but the forefinger is a much better place for a wiper...easier to use and Held's wiper is very flexible so works well to remove water.

Is there a local shop that carries them so you can try a pair on first?

TBrax: In case you don't know of it, check out Revzilla.com .  Always a good way to go since they allow free exchange if size if wrong.  Plus, their sales people tend to be knowledgeable and helpful, at least in my experience.  Videos are helpful, too.

My main summer gloves are Rev'IT and I'm happy, so +1 on the brand praise.
