o, got some nice snowflakes rotors, the right caliper and new master cylinder for brakes, got the 2 lines of brakes, currently have only left rotor, now what? how do I install the right one? any posts about this? done with the search and no-one has mentioned anything about the rim,  do I need a new one? I see the mounting point for the brake caliper but not the 6 holes for the rotor, this is killing meee, help!  [bang]

AFAIK, same wheel  Look again, the holes might have a cover over them, off hand I don't remember.

I'd take the front wheel off and have a look at the hub, it's gunna have to come off to put the rotors on.

Seriously I doubt whether you need a 2nd rotor, I run a DR-650 setup as a motard, I'm on the wrong side of 100kg and I never feel like the brakes are wanting.

But then most of what of we do are wants.  [thumbsup]

there is a plastic hub cover over your wheel covering the threaded holes for your rotor.  Take the wheel off and pull the cover off and you can then mount your rotor.   Dont forget a little blue loctite on the rotor bolts and torque to spec.

easy peasy!

did you get the other side fork leg for to mount the other caliper along with any potential spacers or anything for the conversion?

The fork bottoms are already set up for the caliper.

It most likely also has a plastic cover and no spacers should be required.

Moar brakes are always good. One of the best improve I made on my 695 was going from 300mm 2 pots to 320mm 4 pots.
