Can a motorcycle be salvaged in the state of Texas, then be given a clean/clear title?

If it has a clean title, would there be a way to check if the title was ever salvaged?

Would a dealer be legally required to disclose any of this info?

May have found dream bike (one of them anyway) , but price seems a little too good to be true.

Thanks in advance for anyone with any input!

a salvage title bike can never be issued a clean blue texas title ever again.

After a salvage titled bike is issued, it can then be rebuilt, then once it passes a texas DMV inspection and a laundry list of forms. It will be issued a "Rebuilt- Salvage title" meaning just that. It was salvaged and rebuilt back to road-worthy status. And they are picky too.

The only way a bike could go from salvage to clean is if all the parts are transfered from the salvage titled frame to a clean titled frame.  And that is highly frowned upon. That usually happens when someone wrecks a bike or the engine blows and they decide to part out. Leaving a clean titled frame and then people will transfer their salvage title bike parts and end up with a clean title bike again.

Nah.  Is it yours?  Or one you are looking at buying?
