Fuel tank connection

Good friday, just put my gas tank back on and bike was in storage for a while (about 6 months, on a tender). I think I got the fuel line connection wrong.  Anyone know which line goes to the male "in" connection and which one goes to the male "out".  One of the fuel lines has a white ring around it with the letter "M".  Other than that they both look the same.  I tried turning on the bike but everything sounded different from the moment i turned the ignition to the on position.

First time I ran it it just kept turning but nothing was happening so I killed it with the red switch.  Then I heard a leak and all this fuel leaked because I had loose connection on on of the lines.  I tightened up that connection and tried again and it started but then it sounded strange.  Hope I didn't do any damage.  I want to be sure the connection is correct before i restart.

There should be a sticker on the tank underside.

The M stands for 'mandata' or delivery/feed.

So, the line with the "M" goes to the "Out" plug?

Have not been riding for too long...my bike steering feels stiff when I turn at low speeds but I think it just might be my muscles[thumbsup]
