2013 MotoGP in Austin

This was just posted by Vicki on the "Big List", but I thought it was worth derbying for those of you who don't participate in that group. Anybody planning to attend from our little group?
More exciting Ducati news on the MotoGP front:
We recently launched our 2013 *Ducati Grandstand Ticket Package* for MotoGP at Circuit of the Americas in Austin, TX! The world is excited for the debut of the Red Bull Grand Prix of the Americas at this new, world-class facility. Please, share this news with your members, friends, and family. Spread the word and excitement!
This year, Ducati will have some of the best seating at COTA, in the Ducati Grandstand. We want to fill the stands with a sea of red; let's work together to amass a Desmo army and welcome Nicky Hayden, Andrea Dovizioso, Ben Spies, and Andrea Iannone to this new track.
We hope that you can come spend three fantastic days with our fellow Ducatisti in Austin.

Forza Ducati!

I should be going. I got an email a while back to be a corner worker. I filled out the application and got selected!! I don't have a clue what to expect but I should have a pretty good view of the race

After corner-working 2 AMA Superbike races @ Fontana... Here's my take:
WOW!!! You can actually *see* the riders' expressions through the visors as they're breaking for the corner, you can hear the tires fighting for traction, you can see the chains flopping around as they struggle to transfer power...
You do, however, get stuck 'out there' and can't come in until the race is over.

A note from Vicki Smith regarding tickets for the Ducati Grandstand at Austin:
IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ
When you receive your tickets for the CotA Austin Ducati grandstands and find only one grandstand gift kit voucher and one Ducati parking pass, even though you purchased two or more tickets, CotA is aware there was a mistake by the ticket printer in shipping and they are sorting it out. They just discovered this today but the ticket printer has been asked to mail the missing items so watch for them in the mail.
Please pass the word to anyone you know that might be attending.
