Speedometer

Hey guys I have a 2002  S4 and the plastic mount where the gauges bolt on to the frame snapped. Now i was able to use guerrilla glue to pt it back together, but in the long run I want to completely replace it with a new unit. My question is, is their anyway to set my new speedometer with the old mileage from the old gauge? I really want to keep my odometer the same if possible.

You could get a new plastic case and transplant the guts.
