GPR steering damper
Elka rear shock
cam swap
Galfer wave rotors with ebc sintered double h pads
Goodridge steel braided brake lines
Keihin flat slide carbs and k&n filters
Arrow ti exhaust
Woodcraft highmount rearsets
Shinko slicks (I had fun with them on the supermoto, I thought I'd try them on a bigger scoot,)
Wire tied and ready for the first track day of the season. March 15th.

The bike had previously been laid down and needed quite a bit of fiberglass repair. Lots of fumes and sanding later... the wavy body was ready to be hidden by truck bed liner paint. ( no need to tank gripper pads now :P )

I shaved down the superthick SV seat and recovered it with basic black vinyl.

Fun on the track... all for less than 3k. Everything I purchased was on sale, I just had to be patient. I even found a new pair of Astar super tech r's for 200 bucks.
Gaspar, Melchior and Balthasar kicked me out of the band..... they said I didnt fit the image they were trying to project.

Those are SV650 fairings. Quite a few companies make them as SVs are popular race/track bikes.

Looks cool Joel. Good luck with those tires...that's one item where I don't go cheap. Hopefully they do well for you though.  [thumbsup]
