Hi all,
I recently brought a 1993 M900 and wish to return it to original condition.  It currently has a Ducati Performance two-into-one exhaust system and I wish to return to the orginal two-into-two configuration.  I have original factory cans but am unsure on the horizontal head exhaust pipe I require. Currently eBay has a system from a 2001 900ie part # 570.1.064.1A ZDM-M23 and a local wreaker has a system from a 1995 750SS part # 571.1.015.1A ZDM-M10.  Does anyone know if either are comparable or the part number I require for a 1993 M900?
Kind regards,
MonsterMadMarty

The 750SS is not what you want. Not only are the head pipes shorter due to the shorter deck height, but the collector exits at the wrong angle.

I believe the 900ie has smaller diameter tubes than your old carby. The system will fit though.

57010201A is for 93 - 99, can't imagine why 2000 - 2001 ie would be different.  2002 might be as it has the st frame.

ss is not the same at all.

570.1.064.1A is for an '02 M900ie, according to Ducati.

570.1.020.1A is for '00 and '01 M900ie also, according to Ducati.

If the parts diagrams are to be believed, the difference is the '02 unit has tabs to bolt to the engine at the rear mount, '00 doesn't.
