The title pretty much asks the question. the only problem I have with my monster is the dash I find it hard to read etc, Do after market dashes exist? I am not finding any

I asked the same question a while back, and the short answer is no, it's not worth the aggravation. There are a lot of functions that you need the display, also the system immobilizer requires the dash.

Yes, it would be nice to have a dial type speedometer instead of a LCD numeric display, then you can read the speed via peripheral vision and not have to look down and refocus. Some folks had said that you should just memorize which gear / rpm combination puts you in which speed range. I would argue that this method will not hold up in court when contesting a ticket. Others have said that while on a track, you don't even use the speedometer, you put tape over it. I would argue that the Monster is not a track bike and is intended for the street where there are speed limitations. So a speedometer is absolutely necessary.

I have a Motogadget Motoscope Pro. Look I to those. I don't think they're immobilizer friendly without a lot of work though.
