here is an idea....it is now 2013....maybe give yourself a budget of $2013.00 and see where it takes you....get as ratty and and weird and as custom as that amount takes you!

One gets what they can and customizes it with what they've got. Using whatever, however. Lots n lots of zip ties...

Rat bikes are rat bikes as long as you get creative with what you already have and do most of the work yourself despite lack of mechanical aptitude, imo
