Anyone interested in organizing another CAM/BAD track day? I'm planning to do the TPM track day at Shenny on June 8 or 9.

Definitely interested in a track day, I'd like to take Bianca to Shenandoah. Evil

Looks to me like someone just volunteered himself.

Doh! Ok, I got myself and a friend going. We have a truck but no trailer yet. Add yourself to the list and we'll work out carpools and stuff. M.K.Pepe, you in?

I'll pencil myself in for that weekend, though won't be able to confirm until I get a better sense of where the winds are blowing at the time.

And I'll probably go B initially and see where I stand. Finished out last season running a decent I pace. But I expect this will be my frist time back to the track and with very limited miles under my belt for this year. So no need to rush it.

Why TPM again???

I haven't been to a TPM day and they were highly recommended by a friend. If you know otherwise, let us know.
What's taking so long with your 749?

Poor planning. Taking it to any shop just as the weather turns nice for real. But the root cause is he's weeping oil from the clutch output shaft seal.

Why TPM again???

Aside from the blue shirt conga lines in the B groups (not a concern in I) TPMN was fine by me. What's the fuss Frank?

Are beginners required to ride behind a control rider at TPM? Cos that would suck. Or is it just the no passing rule and the large number of riders that causes bunch ups?

They are not. Only folks in the first level of their class/first time to the track folks are not allowed to pass the CRs for the first two sessions of the day. They go out in pods for 5-6 bikes total - one real hassle and a scare for me was when I caught 1 pod who had caught the other pod. I was working through the big conga line when then checkers came out on the straight. A number of them forgot the specific instruction that checkers means carry on - and do NOT come off line and chop the gas. So a bunch came off line and chopped the throttle as I'm in the middle of their pack at +30 mph.

TPM allows passing in B group. Outside only, BUT there is no inside/outside after the apex

LOL.... lets see... really, the massive $20k effort for refinancing my house was the primary factor of the timing. Weeping oil is bad and I currently trust Duc Pond.
