Ok I've seen a few sets of new 1199r take offs on fleabay for sale and was wondering if anybody knows of fitment issues. Thanks in advance.

Doubt it
the rear axles of all the big sbk are bigger iirc

MonsterCafe

Hmmm. Axles and such won't interchange?

Raux

not 100% certain, but you'll have to change the eccentric, sprocket, sprocket carrier and the axle... i've never read about someone doing it.

Alrighty then. I guess its ime to get on fleabay and bust out the micrometers. Thanks bud

I've researched this myself as I love the new 1199S 3 spoke wheel design - and I've seen some on eBay for relatively cheap.  However, 1198s and 1199s have larger hubs/axle assemblies than Monsters.  Monsters share these parts with the hyper and 848, not the SBKs.  Fitting the 1199 wheels would require a minimum of swapping out hub and axle assemblies but who knows if those parts are compatible with the Monster eccentric, sprocket, cush, swingarms, etc.  That could be an expensive gamble to find out.

The easy alternative?  The new Hyper SP has the same 1199s style 3 spoke forged Marchesinis and these DO fit our bikes off the shelf.  Wait for some used ones to show up on eBay and BOOM - easy peezie.
